They cut down the strong afternoon summer sun, without losing the vista. The mechanism is so compact: a simple roller fitting precisely into neat brackets at the bottom. No cords, or handles, just an easy glide when released back up to the top, under a neat pelmet. We just love them. The installer was friendly and professional and did a great job. We chose the Luxaflex PolySatin Shutters, which are excellent and totally change the look of our bedroom.
